The effects of global communication

    There is a word which emerges frequently in recent years. This word is global communication. Are you sure that you know the meaning of this word? According to thunderbird, Global Communication is the ability to clearly exchange and express understanding through listening, speaking, reading or writing. Global communication plays an important role in contemporary social. In the past ten years, it changed the conditions of society and promoted the development of world. At the same time, globalization brought some negative effects in various aspects of our life.
    
    The interactions between countries, the development of economic and the changing mind from people are benefit from global communication. Typically, there are three advantages which I think they get more benefits from globalization. Firstly, it can promote close interactions between countries and people. global communication can help countries find partners or rivals in the world, and achieve the maximum benefit for their own country. For example, if I was a president of a country, I need to know the tax of export and import, and then adjust the most beneficial situation for my own country. Generally, there also have some official and governmental negotiations between countries. It can help countries which build up their own brainstorming in conferences or organizations. For instance, do you remember there is a organizations called G-20? It is an organization which is involved in discussing the climate change, immigration and gender equity, etc. For many countries, it is a good opportunity to get together, and find collective solutions for many problems. When a country which suffers a catastrophe, other countries may be support this country to rebuild. Secondly, it can promote the growth of business and economy. In recent years, there are some figures and charts that certify the trade between countries has developed rapidly via global communication. For example, if someone wants to buy any products from other countries, they don’t need pay a lot of expense on buying a ticket to there, just buy it in local area or order it online. It is more convenient than before because globalization brings abundant resources from other countries through the way of export and import. Not only we can buy whatever we need in local area, but also play an important role for the development of economy. Thirdly, we can have more chance to learn different cultures from other countries. It is a transform of civilization. For example, Olympic Games is held every four years, it makes people from different countries that can get together. We can know more languages, knowledge, history and holidays about other countries. Studying abroad is a way of globalization because students who from different countries can study together, and live together. It tends to be more globalization in the world, especially on campus.
    
    Global communication also brings the increasing of employment, the coming of finance crisis, and the loss of civilization. These three negative effects can’t be ignored in our life. Firstly, the rate of employment is increasing rapidly, and people starts to worrying about how to share same resource which is so scarce in society. It is necessary to think about how to get the maximum benefit from competitions because there is a large population to share scarcities of resource or position. Getting a job or reserve a resource become difficult for everyone. Secondly, in recent years, people always suffer a frustration from finance crisis. The main reason that why many people lose jobs, and be disappointed about the lives is globalization makes the system of economy in a mess. For instance, the subprime mortgage crisis has led to the dollar depreciation, rising oil price and slower the speed of development. It lasts a long time until the end of 2009. Thirdly, as long as people accept more cultures from other countries, they start have more preference on foreign food or holidays. This is a large transition for a country’s civilization when people lose their own consciousness and spirits. What’s more, the advanced technology can be spread widely via global communication. They become lazy to do works because whatever they do, they always have ready-made products to use. People become lose their creative mind and national spirits. This is a large lethality for a country’s national power.
    
    In contemporary society, global communication has two sides. It can promote the relationships and interactions between two countries. Generally, Export and import become more convenient than before because globalization was speeded up in our lives. Global business is one of the most important parts to be concerned, such as the corporation between peoples or countries. People have changed their conservative mind in the past ten years. They have creative and open ways of thinking to accept up-to-date knowledge. These all owe to the benefits of global communication. However, along the globalization has been promoted in the past ten years, there are some negative factors that exist. For instance, people start worrying about their jobs or anything else because there are a lot of opportunities and challenges in society. The main reason is global communication can bring many resources from other countries that occupy most of the markets in our own country.  It may be affect countries’ national power.

"What is global communication and how has it promoted the globalization witnessed in the past ten years?"

Intro:
 In contemporary society, global communication plays an important role. It can promote the relationships and interactions between two countries.  However, along the globalization has been promoted in the past ten years, there are some negative factors that exist in global communication.


Thesis Statement:
The interactions between countries, the development of economic and the changing mind from people are benefit from global communication, but it also brings the high rate of employment, the coming of fianace crisis, and the loss of civilization.

Body:

A.    There are some positives effects from global communication.

a.       Global communication can promote the interactions between countries

b.       Global communication can promote the growth of business or economic  in one country.

c.       Global communication can promote the corporation between peoples, and make people know more cultures from other countries.

  

B.     There are some negative effects from global communication.

a.    It makes some people who is worrying about the unemployment.

b.    It affects finance crisis in some coutry.

c. It make some people or countrie lose their own spirits.


conclusion:
          The world has changed a lot in contemporary social, and there is a long way to go. We need developing and creative mind to treat this world, not shallow sight and mind. We need adapt the global communication and do more. No matter what effects we get, the world is like a family which includes different people from different countries. We can not be enemy because we need learn each other, only friends.

Definition of abstract: An abstract is a condensed version of a longer piece of writing that highlights the major points covered, concisely describes the content and scope of the writing, and reviews the writing's contents in abbreviated form.

Two types of abstracts are typically used: Descripitive abstract & Imformative abstract.

Why are abstracts so important?
The practice of using key words in an abstract is vital because of today's electronic information retrieval systems. Titles and abstracts are filed electronically, and key words are put in electronic storage. When people search for information, they enter key words related to the subject, and the computer prints out the titles of articles, papers, and reports containing those key words. Thus, an abstract must contain key words about what is essential in an article, paper, or report so that someone else can retrieve information from it.

Steps for writing abstracts:
To write an effective abstract, follow these steps:

• Reread the article, paper, or report with the goal of abstracting in mind.
  
  • Look specifically for these main parts of the article, paper, or report: purpose, methods, scope, results, conclusions, and recommendation.
  • Use the headings, outline heads, and table of contents as a guide to writing your abstract.
  • If you're writing an abstract about another person's article, paper, or report, the introduction and the summary are good places to begin. These areas generally cover what the article emphasizes.
• After you've finished rereading the article, paper, or report, write a rough draft without looking back at what you're abstracting.
  
  • Don't merely copy key sentences from the article, paper, or report: you'll put in too much or too little information.
  • Don't rely on the way material was phrased in the article, paper, or report: summarize information in a new way.
• Revise your rough draft to
  
  • correct weaknesses in organization.
  • improve trasitions from point to point.
  • drop unnecessary information.
  • add important information you left out.
  • eliminate wordiness.
  • fix errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Print your final copy and read it again to catch any glitches that you find.

1. First, write your paper. Abstracts will be at the beginning of you paper, it should be the last section that you write. Once you finished your paper, use it as a guide for writing abstracts.

2. Begin your abstracts on a new page and the running head and page No.2 on the top right corner.

3. Keep it short, abstracts should be no longer than 150-250 words, it should be written as only one paragraph. In order to briefly describe your paper, you need determine which parts are the most important.

4. Stracture your abstracts in the same order as your paper. Begin with a brief summary of introduction, and then continue on summary of methods, results and disscussion sections of your paper.

Conclusion: Make sure you add no new information in your abstract, just simply summarize your paper. In addition, abstract should be understandable to be read.

       I never think about I could be a remarkable person to save my kingdom although I had dreams like this. I am going to forget that period of time in my mind. That makes me feel frightened every moment, when I wake up from a nightmare in the midnight, and think back the memories of the first adventure. A summer break before two years ago, I came back from school, and I was ready to enjoy a wonderful break to nearby city by canoe. The canoe is made by my grandpa; he always warned me do not approach to the canoe. I felt curious about the mystery of canoe because it was always covered by a dark colored cloth, and I thought that there must be a secret in my life. So, I didn’t tell him that I borrowed it. While I was sailing, I found a wallet which was made by leather. I guessed that the wallet was from Africa or some countries near Africa because there were some designs implied me. To my surprise, I found a stamp with some special printed words—“罗伦”. Although I didn’t know what’s meaning of the words, I could recognize and read that. I guessed that it might be someone’s name. If I didn’t find the strange wallet, I will be fine during my journey. Everything got start with the wallet. Suddenly, the weather changed frequently, and a rainstorm would come soon. I consumed all my strength to control the canoe, but the canoe still unbalanced and it filled with majority of water. I gave up controlling the canoe because everything I did was vain. I started looking for a vessel which I could use for pouring water. Finally, when I got a jar in my baggage, I was stroked down in the sea by a high wave. I mightily predicted that I would not escape this disaster because I felt my temperature decreased so fast, and I couldn’t hear my breath clearly. I never felt so disappointed and unhopeful than before though I was a brave girl. With hearing my heart beat, I knew I was going to see Azrael.

       Fortunately, when I opened my eyes again, I was lying on a beach. I felt someone was looking at me in my back. Then, I turned around found a head was put on a clay plate. Is it real? I screamed and asked myself cautiously. No, it’s a fake wood head with blue eyes and red lips. It was certainly scared me. I kept crossing the forest because I was so hungry and I hoped to find some food. Suddenly, a raven stood in front me; it stared at me and crowed to me. The sounds liked a sarcastic laughing. I heard a tale about raven in China before. If someone saw a raven, it must brought wickedness by and by. After few minutes, it must be unbelievable for me that I found a white house with a beautiful yard which had cobblestoned lawn. In front of the door, there was statue located there. It was an African woman who had large pierced ears. At that moment, I was scared that the woman could talk as human being.

  “Welcome! Did you remember the stamp with words—“罗伦”? You found it, so you were the person who I was always looking for. 罗伦 is my lord's Chinese name, he had been to China when he was nineteen year old. He had a child with a woman; the child is your grandpa. Before 罗伦's death, he gave your grandpa three chestnuts and a purse to keep. However, your grandpa ate the chestnuts and released the soul of evil. Later, I became a statue from the moment and I lost all the magic to protect the life of my kingdom. Now, you are the heir of our lost kingdom. Please enter the house and find another friend of us.” The woman said.When I entered the house, there was a large statue which was a man with a drum in my sight. He started talking to me “Oh! you come here! Welcome my new lord! Right now I will give you a ruler for measuring the size of chestnuts as before. Also you need let the evil eat the three chestnuts. I know it is difficult to find three centimeters chestnuts in the amount of chestnuts, and I just give you ten minutes because the evil will come back each ten minutes. If you want to save us, you need be quick to finish this task."

       I started using the ruler to measure the size of chestnuts. Five minutes left, I still didn't find any results. I was so nervous that I didn't know what would occur to me. Two minutes left... one minutes left... Finally, I got three chestnuts at the last thirty seconds. Few seconds later, I found a cake in the kitchen, and I put the three chestnuts into a cake. I hoped that the evil would eat it. However, there was no time for me to escape. The evil showed up outside the house because I heard some footsteps. I hide behind a bookshelf quickly. I saw the evil that had nine inches tall with a fierce face. I noticed that he didn't eat the cake which was on the table. Suddenly, the man started talk to him “Do you remember what date is today? Obviously, you must forget about the date of last year; it was your first day to be my lord of kingdom. To celebrate the anniversary, we prepared a cake for you." The evil was so excited to hear that, and he gobbled the cake immediately. Suddenly, he felt uncontrolled about his body and lost all the magic.

       The two statues became real and alive person, and they recovered all the magic. “Thanks, you did perfectly, and we are back to reality. Please do not leave here, my lord." The woman said. “I am sorry that I must go home because I don't want to lose my family. I have known the secrets of canoe, purse, stamp and chestnuts; I knew my grandpa must be self-abused to his father. So I should back home and release his worries of past years. This is my secret kingdom that I will keep in my memory."
